It all started when…

For as long as I can remember I have had a camera in tow.  From the point and shoot as a child, to my own DSLR with multiple lenses, and now equipment set to travel, I have been inspired by many friends, relatives and teachers as I have grown as a photographer.

I simply enjoy capturing moments that tell a story, and appreciate knowing that I will be preserving time forever in an image. I share my photographic talents through a range of nonprofits (Operation Delta Dog, Indian Hill Music, private schools and colleges), where I have signature photos on websites and publications.

I completed my Professional Digital Photo Certificate at Boston University’s Center of Digital Imaging in 2012, and I have taken additional workshops with Maine Media and Icelandic Photo Tours.  Since being certified, I have grown my photography business in the Groton, Massachusetts area (also into Southern New Hampshire, Boston metro), with a focus on capturing natural moments with families, children, high school seniors and significant life events (weddings, birthdays, celebrations). With more posed shots such as senior photos and headshots, I aim to capture images that reflect personality. For family and child portraits, I will be your guide to make this the best experience possible with regards to location suggestions, timing of soft natural light and ways to make candid shots an integral part of the shoot.
